Ah, yes! Here we are!

Wow, we find ourselves in January 2010 now...where does time go? I guess we have put off updating our blog for long enough. So, here we go...here are some pictures for you. We will have to do this in a few posts, but here is the first installment.
Skyler's school took a field trip to Pumpkinland in Orem. We were invited to go with them. Oh so fun!
My three pumpkins and the pumpkins they grew in our front yard. I promised that they could pick them October 1st. (Oh, and I only knew about 2 that were growing. When Stephen and Skyler picked their pumpkins, I made a little wish for just one more for Cody...and there it was, growing on the grass hiding beneath our jungle flowers.

We went to Aunt Laura's house to choose a few bigger pumpkins. Cody found a pile of leaves...
Here are the carving masterpieces outside our house Halloween night.

These are our turkey treats for Thanksgiving dinner. They were fun and exciting. I had talked over plans for them with little Stephen, but made them while they all slept. They were so excited, and they all decided on their favorites.

I got the recipe from my sis-in-law's blog (look for the Crazy About Cakes link on my blog) who borrowed it from bakerella.com or something like that.
You bake a cake, let it cool, crumble it into a bowl, mix in frosting, form it into balls, put them in the freezer for a moment to set up, then you dip them in candy melts or whatever, I used chocolate barking, and I hurried to decorate before it set up. They were fun to make. =)
